I often joke with out of state friends that living in Florida is like being on vacation 365 days a year. The weather’s always warm and I can visit gorgeous beaches whenever I like. Protecting our natural resources is something we all take seriously in the Sunshine State. because it adds to our quality of life, attracts millions of tourists every year, and powers our economy. That’s why Florida Watch released a video calling out the Trump administration’s plan to allow oil and gas drilling off Florida’s Gulf Coast after the November election. It was only 10 years ago that the BP oil spill devastated our waterways and wildlife across the Gulf region, and we haven’t forgotten.
